turbine_classString

IEA wind class. The entry should be I, II, III, or IV.

turbulence_classString

IEA turbulence class. The entry should be A, B, or C.

drivetrainString

Drivetrain configuration. This is intended to inform a automated interpreter of the yaml about the data specified in the field drivetrain

rotor_orientationString

Switch between upwind and downwind rotor configurations.

number_of_bladesInteger

Number of rotor blades.

hub_heightFloat, m

Height of the hub center from the ground or from the mean sea level

rotor_diameterFloat, m

Rotor diameter, defined as the sum of hub diameter and two times the three dimensional curved blade length

rated_powerFloat, W

Electrical rated power of the wind turbine

lifetimeFloat, yr

Design lifetime of the turbine
